The Samsung Galaxy S7, Sony Xperia XZ, and the LG V20 vary in price and specifications. Still, we will compare the core specifications to draw some conclusion for the one who are stuck with choosing among these three devices.

Starting with the design and display, the LG V20 comes with a bigger screen of 5.7" with a resolution of 1440x2560, while the Xperia XZ has a smaller 5.2" touch screen and Galaxy S7 have 5.1" capacitive touchscreen with similar resolution.

Though we can easily distinguish between the quality as S7 comes with Super AMOLED capacitive screen protected with Gorilla Glass 4. On the other hand, LG V20 and Xperia XZ have IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection in V20 and an unspecified version of the same in Xperia XZ.

In terms of performance, Samsung Galaxy S7, Xperia XZ and LG V20 fare evenly with similar quad core Snapdragon 820 processor clocking at 2.15GHz. We have a another S7 version which has Exynos 8890 octa-core processor with 2.3GHz clocking speed.

We don't need to shred extra money for more storage in LG V20, Xperia XZ and Galaxy S7 which come with microSD slot up to 256 GB.

The trio comes with two models of 32GB and 64 GB in-built storage option. LG V20 and Galaxy S7 have 4GB RAM while, Xperia XZ have 3GB RAM.

In terms of battery, LG V20 theoretically  has a bigger battery with 3200 mAH than Galaxy S7's 3000 mAH battery and Xperia XZ's 2900 mAH battery.

The photography round has a few ups and downs. Galaxy S7 features a 12 MP (1080p) rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front snapper.

Contrastingly, LG V20 has a dual 16 MP + 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP primary camera.

The best reason to buy Sony Xperia XZ over others in this comparison can be the love for selfies due to the stunning 13 MP front facing selfie camera. Additionally, it comes with 23 MP (1080p) camera with LED flash at the back.  Additionally, the trio has got the fingerprint sensors on them.

While the software on LG V20 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, it has a secondary 2.1-inch display for notifications. Galaxy S7 uses a tweaked version of Android 6.0 with Touch Wiz UI and always on-display feature. Xperia XZ also offers Android 6.0, with some extra features like Triluminos display and X-Reality engine.

Summing up, Galaxy S7, LG V20 and Xperia XZ are giving neck to neck competition. Since the price of these phones are in the premium range, Xperia XZ is the clear winner among these three.
