With the trade deadline approaching fast, the latest NBA trade rumors hinted that the New Orleans Pelicans might bring in the former Los Angeles Lakers' forward and shooting guard Anthony Brown, who is currently the player for the Erie BayHawks.

ESPN's Marc Stein reported that the New Orleans Pelicans team is planning to rebuild their team and might soon sign off Brown out of the NBA Development League, according to latest NBA trade rumors. It is stated that adding Brown onto their roster will help the Pelicans to turn around their game in the current NBA season.

According to the rumors, Brown will provide the New Orleans Pelicans with excellent offensive and defensive skills and thus, put up high scores on the board. Lakers Nation reported that Brown has an average of 4.0 points and 2.4 rebounds per game with shooting 31 percent from the floor and 28.6 from beyond the arc, which is expected to help the team to further boost their offensive gameplay.

On the other hand, ChattSportsNet reported that even Brown is keen on joining the New Orleans Pelicans team in order to once again play in the core NBA league. Earlier, before the start of the 2016-17 NBA season, the Los Angeles Lakers parted ways with the 24-year-old player in order to trim their roster to a maximum of 15 players.

It is stated that Brown might be teamed up with the New Orleans Pelicans' star player and power forward Anthony Davis in order to form a deadly duo, which will help the Pelicans to further enhance their offensive gameplay on the court and become one of the strong contenders for the NBA league title.

However, there is still no official word on the rumored trade scenario involving Anthony Brown and his comeback in the NBA league. Stay tuned for more updates and NBA trade rumors on the New Orleans Pelicans.
