Park Shin Hye has recently been inducted into Korea Food for the Hungry International (KFHI)'s Philanthropy Club. The actress was admitted after having donated a substantial amount of money to support the charity's efforts to fight world hunger.

The South Korean actress became a member of a major donors' club run by an international relief and development organization on Wednesday.

As the 36th inductee, the "Doctors" star joins a select group of KFHI donors who have given at least 100 million won (approximately $85 thousand) to the organization.

Korea Food for the Hungry International (KFHI), which aims to raise awareness of poverty and hunger around the world, rewarded the high-profile actress membership to the Philanthropy Club, composed of individual supporters who have donated more than 100 million won (US$85,000).

Park Shin Hye has been reported to be  a goodwill ambassador of KFHI since 2011 and has been spearheading activities to help children both at home and abroad through "Starlight Angel Project," named after her fan club.

"I haven't done much, but I'm thankful and embarrassed to be given this spot. I'll work harder to share and participate to fit the title of philanthropist," the 26-year-old actress shared after receiving the honor.

In another topic, Park Shin Hye's close friend, Lee Hong Ki revealed that the "Brother" actress is mature as she always gave him dating advices.

During an interview on "Park Myung-soo's Radio Show" last Thursday, Lee Hong Ki revealed that Park Shin Hye has played a huge part in his dating life. Apparently, the "Pinocchio" actress has been his personal coach on going out with girls. This is despite Park Shin Hye's few dating experiences in the past.

"Despite not having many dating experiences, she is more mature than I am (in terms of dating)," Lee Hong Ki said during the interview. "She gives me a lot of advice about life."

Park Shin Hye and Lee Hong Ki are known to be long-time friends. In fact, the two are very vocal about their close relationship. The pair was even rumored to be romantically involved with each other but the two quickly dismissed the issue.
