'Titanfall 2' Offers Free Multiplayer This Week; 'Angel City' DLC Now Live On Early Access

Players who have yet to try out "Titanfall 2" can now experience multiplayer for free this week, according to an announcement by developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts.

The mecha based first person online shooter will be offering its multiplayer mode as part of a free trial all throughout the weekend.This free trial period includes full access to all maps and modes, according to the official Titanfall website.

For those who are subscribed to Origin Access on Windows PC or EA Access on Xbox One, free trial starts today, Nov. 30. For everybody else, the trial will be available for them starting Dec. 2. The trial run will end on Dec. 4, as confirmed by Xbox Director of Programming Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb on his blog.

Subscribers and those who have pre-ordered the game will also have early access to the game's first downloadable content drop "Angel City's Most Wanted," which will take players back to a remastered version of the iconic "Angel City" multiplayer map from the first "Titanfall" game.

The new DLC will feature a whole lot of new content such as the Wingman Elite Pistol. It will also add six brand new kits to customize your Titans:

Ion: Refraction Lens - Splitter Rifle splits 5 ways

Scorch: Scorched Earth - Flame Core ignites the ground, leaving thermite in its wake

Northstar: Threat Optics - Enemies are highlighted while zooming in

Tone: Burst Loader - Aiming allows the 40mm to store up to 3 shots to burst fire

Legion: Hidden Compartment - Power Shot has two charges

Ronin: Phase Reflex - When doomed, Ronin phases out of danger

Apart from new Titan Kits, the "Angel City's Most Wanted" DLC will also offer new Nose Arts, exclusive Callsigns, Camos and more.
