Let's compare the Somy Xperia Z5 Premium with the two new offering in the market: the HTC 10 and the Samsung Galaxy S7.

The user interface of these phones currently run on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and can be upgraded to Android Nougat 7.0.

The QHD 5.2" display of the HTC 10 has a Super LCD 5 capacitive touchscreen protected by Gorilla Glass 3. On the other hand, the Xperia Z5 Premium screen is slightly bigger than the other two with 5.5" IPS LCD display and 4K resolution with scratch-resistant glass and oleophobic coating. The Galaxy S7 has the smallest 5.1" Super AMOLED display with qHD resolution.

The flagship devices offer the best in the market. It is evident with the latest quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor clocking at 2.15 GHz in the HTC 10 and the Galaxy S7. The Xperia Z5 Premium is just little behind with its octa-core 2.0 GHz CPU and Snapdragon 810 processor.

The HTC 10 and the Galaxy S7 are offered in two variants of 32/64 GB internal storage coupled with 4 GB RAM. On the other hand, the Xperia Z5 Premium has only 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. All the three phones have expandable storage option up to 256GB.

In terms of Camera, the HTC 10 and the Galaxy S7 has a stunning 12MP lens in rear camera and a upgraded 5MP lens in front camera. However, HTC comes with dual-LED flash, the Galaxy S7 has LED flash.

The Xperia Z5 Premium overtakes the duo with its 23MP Sony lens in rear camera with LED flash and a 5.1MP selfie snapper.

The Xperia Z5 Premium has the biggest 3430mAH battery against the 3000mAH battery in the other two.

Though the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium offers the best specifications among all, it lags in upgrade due to its launch in Nov 2015. However, if you are buying a new phone, then go for Galaxy S7 or HTC 10 for the latest OS.
