With less than a year before its release, a lot of rumors about the "Justice League" movie are surfacing, particularly about the actor who will play the role of Green Lantern.

Fan speculation began after the confirmation that at least one member of the Green Lantern Corps will appear in the movie. The latest of which, is Armie Hammer, who posted a few hints of him possibly getting the role.

Joe Manganiello, potraying as Deathstroke, and Geoff Johns, the co-architect of the DC Expanded universe, followed Hammer's Twitter account a few days ago. The latter followed Johns's account, as well.

Furthermore, DC Comics artist Breth Brooth posted a tweet that he wants Hammer to be the Green Lantern for the movie.

Speculations of Hammer clinching the role became bigger when he posted a tweet about a "very large announcement", but immediately continued the tweet by announcing that he is "playing his old guitar tonight".

Despite the seemingly troll announcement, it is possible that Armie Hammer would be a part of the "Justice League" as Green Lantern, considering his very healthy relationship with Warner Bros. and the film's producers.

Hammer even sent a tweet to Joe Manganiello, and a stoked Manganiello congratulated him in reply.

In addition, Cosmic Book News reported that a friend of Hammer supposedly congratulated him in a private Instagram account for being casted as Green Lantern.

However, this information should be taken very lightly, as other possibilities for the casting may be possible, like Hammer being casted for another DCEU character.

Aside from Armie Hammer, a few sources report that Dan Amboyer may also be casted as Justice League's Green Lantern.

Prior to the release of "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" earlier this year, there was a strong rumer that Dan Amboyer will take over the Green Lantern role. Unfortunately, there was no sight of Green Lantern in the aforementioned movie.
