The latest NBA trade rumors suggested that the Boston Celtics and the Dallas Mavericks might enter a deal before the trade deadline.

Reports claimed that the Celtics might give away their power forward Kelly Olynyk to the Mavericks in order to bring in their center Andrew Bogut.

According to the reports, the Boston Celtics team is planning to rebuild their team in order to enhance their roster. Rumors hinted that adding Bogut will provide the team with excellent defensive skills, which will help them to become one of the top contenders of the NBA league.

It is stated that the Boston Celtics are keen on improving their rebounding skills in the NBA court and Bogut is purported to be the perfect fit. The NBA trade rumors suggested that the 32-year-old veteran player is expected to be teamed up with Celtics core lineup comprising of center Al Horford, small forward Jaylen Brown, and point guard Isaiah Thomas, which will help them to put up high scores on the board in the NBA season.

As a part of the proposed trade deal, it is rumored that the Boston Celtics might also send 2018 first-round NBA draft pick along with Kelly Olynyk to the Dallas Mavericks. Nevertheless, there are reports that the Celtics might ink a deal with Denver Nuggets for their center Jusuf Nurkic.

On the other hand, few reports suggested that even the Dallas Mavericks will benefit from the trade as Olynyk is expected to provide them with excellent defensive and offensive skills. This is expected to help the Mavericks to put up high scores on the board and improve their ranking in the NBA league.

However, there is no official word on the rumored trade scenario from either of the teams. So, these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt as of now.
