Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West are proving divorce rumors wrong as they are reported to be ready for a better 2017. Moreover, the couple is doing much better despite rumors claiming that the "Keeping up with the Kardashian" star is going through a mysterious illness.

Hearsays about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West split started when the rapper reportedly experienced a mental breakdown, and then the KUWTK starlet was also reported to experienced some mystery illness after the Paris robbery incident.

"About three weeks ago, Kim received bad medical news," an insider revealed. "Kanye has been stressed about the diagnosis and that was part of what is to blame for his demise."

A separate source revealed, "Kim's friends have heard she was diagnosed with a major illness, and is not going to be OK."

"Her friends are worried and trying to find out what's going on. That's part of why Kanye flipped out," the insider said. "The family isn't telling anyone yet."

"After the robbery, Kim went to see all sorts of specialists," the insider claimed. "She got a diagnosis and has started taking medication.She's following her doctor's orders and is working through it, but a lot of people around her are scared." 

However, all these divorce rumors where cleared by Kim Kardashian's longtime bestfriend, Jonathan Cheban.

"I just FaceTimed with Kim and Kanye and everyone's talking about some divorce rumors and I was laughing because I didn't hear that all day and I guess everybody else apparently here did and it's so funny to me because it's so not true," her longtime best friend told E! Online Wendesday at the DailyMail.com Holiday Party. "I don't know where people come up with stories but it's literally hysterical but Jennifer Aniston has also been pregnant like 1,000 times so it's kind of a joke."

"They're in good spirits. I don't want to talk much about them because it's not my business but I do have to say that the divorcing is kind of hysterical, that I will mention, because I just spoke to both of them on FaceTime literally before I was coming here and when I heard that I literally burst out laughing," Cheban added.

"Well, I can tell you the divorce is not happening. I was so surprised when someone asked me that on a red carpet ... But I'll tell you they are definitely not getting a divorce," Cheban continued.

Kanye West was recently spotted in public for the first time after he was released following his mental breakdown, while Kim Kardashian has been laying low since the Paris robbery incident in October.
