With the highly anticipated film adaptation of the popular "Assassin's Creed" franchise just days away from premiering worldwide, fans are now at the edge of their seats --- hoping it will not become one of the many video game movies that only ended up as box office flops. In order to promote the upcoming "Assassin's Creed" movie, several of its actors and its directors have recently appeared in a livestream interview to assure fans that the film is going to be a milestone movie and won't just be a video game's mediocre adaptation.

In an Xbox livestream interview hosted by Microsoft's Major Nelson aired today, several of the movie's cast members were present to share their experience in making the film. Among those who were in attendance was Michael Fassbender, who will be playing the lead roles of Callum Lynch and Aguilar de Nerha. He was accompanied by fellow actors Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, and Michael Kenneth Williams. Also present during the interview was the movie director Justin Kurzel and brand director Azaizia Aymar.

During the interview, Fassbender explained the differences between the game and the new movie. He mentioned that the film was created to make audiences somewhat feel like passengers. He also praised the video game source for being so rich in content and for being very multi-dimensional, as opposed to being laid out in black and white. The actor revealed that he and fellow star Ariane Labed apparently performed most of their stunts during the shooting as well --- with the exception of the 120-foot Leap of Faith scene, which was shot with their stunt performer, Damien Walters.

To reassure fans on the quality of their work, Aymar boldly mentioned that their movie is going to be the one to break the long-running video game movie curse and it would essentially become a milestone that will pave the way for future "Assassin's Creed" movies. Fassbender also revealed that he actually already signed on to star in multiple sequels in the future.

The "Assassin's Creed" movie is scheduled to hit theaters next week, on Dec. 21.
