The latest reports on the Android Nougat operating system suggested that Samsung, Motorola, and OnePlus will soon release the updated software for their respective gadgets. Below, we have listed down the different smartphones on which the Android Nougat OS will soon be made available.

Samsung

News 18 reported that the South Korean technology giant Samsung will soon release the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update on its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge smartphones. Reports stated that the new update will provide a boost to the device's performance and enhance the user interface. Also, it will provide the users with different app shortcuts, new emojis, support tab, reset button, and much more.

It is stated that the latest Android Nougat OS will be made available to the Samsung phones by early 2017. However, there is still no official confirmation on when the update will be released by the company for its devices.

Motorola

As far as the Motorola devices are concerned, reports stated that Motorola has launched the Android 7.0 Nougat update for its Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 smartphone users, which was announced in October 2016. It is stated that the new update will provide the Motorola customers with enhanced multi-tasking features and high-level device performance.

Reports suggested that the Android Nougat update has been made available to the user with the help of OTS notification. However, if customers are unable to view the notification, then they can manually search by navigating to the settings menu.

To add on to that, there are rumors that the Motorola's Moto X Play will directly receive the Android 7.0.1 Nougat update instead of the Android 7.0.

OnePlus

Amidst all the update rumors, the latest reports suggested that OnePlus 3 is currently upgradable to the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. It is stated that the update has been made available to the OnePlus device with the help of the Resurrection Remix ROM, which is touted to offer the official Nougat features like DASH Charge, codex files for data apps, and reduced booting time.
