2017 Microsoft Surface Pro 5: More Than A Laptop, A 4K Tablet Too

Good news for fans of tablets and other gadget as Microrosoft will be releasing a new PC Tablet. Microsoft's Surface Pro 5 is the most awaited next-gen 2-in-1 detachable PC tablet that was rumored to be hitting the market this Spring 2017.

According to University Herald, here are the things you need to know - more like speculations, about this latest high-quality gadget. It was said that Surface Pro 5 have Intel Kaby Lake for its processor, which is new and improved. This processor is enhanced to boost the performance of the gadget with a memory of 16 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage. Unlike the previous Surface Pro 4 with an Intel Skylake processor which was rumored to be used on Pro 5.

Microsoft is anticipated to be releasing the new Operating System - Windows 10 Redstone 3. It was rumored that Pro 5 will use the new OS. Surface Pro 5 is also expected to be of two types which are the top-tier and the entry-level. The top-tier features a 4k high resolution display and a 2k resolution for the entry-level.

Surface Pro 5 will also be supporting the Rechargeable Surface Pen. On a report in PC Advisor, from University Herald, the Surface Pen has self-automated charging which when attached to the PC tablet. The surface Pen contains rechargeable batteries which are more convenient compared to the preceding Surface Pro with an AAAA alkaline battery that is manually charged.

Surface Pro 4 has a price ranging from $999 to $1,799. With the next-gen Surface Pro 5, its price is believed to be between $899 and $1,599.

Surface Pro 5 is rumored to be coming to the market on Spring 2017. However, Microsoft has not yet confirmed when would be Surface Pro 5's release date.
