'Battlefield 1' Holiday Event Features New Custom Game Mode Called Blind Delivery Plus More Freebies
Cores Grace MalaayIt's the time of the year again and as usual, many games are getting holiday updates such as "Battlefield 1." The special event starts Dec. 21 until Dec. 29 with all new things to explore daily. "Today we're kicking off the "Battlefield 1" Holiday Event. To make sure your holiday sessions with the game will be extra merry, we've prepared a bunch of events and giveaways for this period," EA said.
GameSpot reports, the newest Custom Game that EA added for "Battlefield 1" is called Blind Delivery, which takes the War Pigeons mode, putting the mini-map out of action with only handguns and explosives being featured. The Blind Delivery can be found in the Custom Game tab in the multiplayer menu.
Holiday Truce, the dog tag for "Battlefield 1" becomes available on Dec. 22 and can be acquired through logging in to the game any time of the day, according to Gaming Bolt. Additionally, new vehicle skins are also added to the game as well as Battlepacks.
In the Battllepacks revision, two Heavy Tank skins such as SchnucK and Desert Gold. Between Dec. 23 and 29, players who log in to the game within these dates will get a free Battlepack at least one per account. Moreover, all owners of the Premium Pass who log in within the same dates mentioned will be getting two Superior Battlepacks.
Developed by EA Dice and published by Electronics Arts, "Battlefield 1" is a first-person shooter video game for PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows and Xbox One on Oct. 21, 2016. The game received positive reviews because of its World War I theme, visuals, multiplayer modes, single-player campaign and sound design.
Set during World War I period, the game got its inspiration from historic events where players can maximize the World War I weaponry alongside automatic and semi-automatic rifles, bolt-action rifles, flamethrowers, mustard gas and artillery to fight against enemies.
