Best Buy and other shops have been consistently opening their stores even at extended hours prior to Christmas Eve. But this year, will Best Buy be doing it differently? For those willing to buy gifts and presents at a Best Buy store for Christmas, this Christmas 2016 schedule would come in handy.

This year, Christmas Day falls on a Sunday and because of this, some stores operating hours are impacted. There are stores which have been open in the previous years for the entire day that are closing for a full day this year. Unfortunately, one of the stores affected for this year is Best Buy as they will not be open at all this Sunday.

As of the moment, top stores such as GameStop (for gaming needs), Walmart (for groceries) and Walgreens (for drugs and medicines) have not yet declared their Christmas eve holiday schedule. For now, these stores are operating on extended hours to accommodate the sudden splurge of people gearing up for Christmas Day.

As listed on PCMag, Best Buy prepared some holiday deals and discounts such as $250 gift card for trading iPhone 6 or newer version and activation with Sprint, Verizon and AT&T. Customers can also be treated to a $125 discount for iPad Pro 9.7-inch devices.

For customers who love sound tripping, Beats by Dre Powerbeats 2 are on sale for around $70 less. Best Buy gift cards are also available at $60 upon purchase of GoPro Hero5 Black, $45 for GoPro Hero5 Session and $20 for GoPro Hero Session.

Best Buy will close operations for the entire Christmas day while most of their stores will be open until 6 PM ET on Christmas eve. Free chat support, however, will be available for everyone 24/7. For last-minute shopping, Best Buy retail stores are available up to 6PM ET as well. Good news!
