The top lawyers at Pearson Specter Litt will be in a bind when the show returns on USA Network on January 25, 2017, according to multiple "Suits" Season 6 spoilers. In addition to Mike Ross' imprisonment for fraud, the firm will also be losing its top brass, Jessica.

To fill in the space that Gina Torres' character left behind, "Suits" showrunners have decided to call on Amanda Schull. The "12 Monkeys" actress will be returning to the show to reprise her role as Katrina -- a former employee of Pearson Specter who is now working for Robert Zane's firm.

At the time, Katrina worked closely with Louis Litt, played by Rick Hoffman. It remains unclear if her comeback is involved with Zane's offer to merge the two firms, or if it is simply to fill in for Jessica.

Executive producer Aaron Korsh revealed some "Suits" spoilers that shed more light on its winter premiere. Although his hints were vague, they still confirm that Katrina's reappearance is "pretty directly connected to the loss of Jessica."

"We had a major event happen with Jessica leaving," Korsh told TV Line. That said, he revealed that the first two episodes will be "a little bit more personal nature."

Jessica has been with the show since its first season and her leaving was a big shock to everyone in the firm. Now that she is gone, as a result of Mike's imprisonment, everyone at the Pearson Specter Litt is left with difficult choices to make.

Korsh told Deadline that lead characters Louis and Harvey, played by Gabriel Macht, will be having "a little bit of a struggle as to what they are going to do moving forward without Jessica." As reflected in their love-hate relationship, Louis and Harvey are expected to constantly bicker about who is going to lead the firm now that they are one name partner short.
