The second week of the Xbox Live Countdown sale has officially begun. Deals comprise discounts on membership, games, apps and a whole lot more.

Xbox Live Countdown Week 2 sale starts on December 29, leading in the latest set of the week's deals and a whole lot of daily deals. Xbox One and Xbox 360 gamers can still upgrade to Gold, paying only $1 for the first month's membership fee. All throughout the Countdown, Gold members will get 10 percent discount on top of all other Xbox deals, says, Major Nelson.

For December 30, Xbox One Countdown Deal gives between 60 percent and 70 percent price slash to "Chivalry: Medieval Warfare Ultimate Edition." Furthermore, "Chivalry: Medieval Warfare" is discounted between 40 percent and 50 percent. Gamers can still avail of deals from December 29 which include Steredenn priced slashed between 30 and 40 percent. Moreover, Goat Simulator is discounted between 60 percent and 67 percent.

Among the games discounted between 60 percent and 67 percent for the weeks two of Xbox One Countdown Deal include "Castle Crashers Remastered," "DARK SOULS II: Scholar of the First Sin," "Call of Duty: Ghosts," and "Battleborn." Other games that are discounted at the same rate are "Borderlands: The Handsome Collection," "Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition," "Dragon Ball Xenoverse + Season Pass," "Rare Replay," and "Ryse: Legendary Edition."

Xbox 360 games included in week two of Xbox One Countdown Deal include between 70 and 80 percent discount on "XCOM: Enemy Within," "Killer is Dead," "Hitman: Absolution Suit and Gun Collection," and "Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel." Moreover, for games discounted between 65 and 75 percent are "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition," "Prey," "Mafia II," "Hitman: Absolution," and "Hitman: Blood Money." "Call of Duty: Ghosts," "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Bundle," "Call of Duty: World at War," "Deadpool," DOOM," and "EA SPORTS FIFA 17" are some of the many games discounted between 40 and 50 percent.
