The third instalment in the "Pitch Perfect" movie series starring Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson is hitting the theatres in December. However, the shooting of the film has begun with the reunited cast and some new entries in the "Pitch Perfect 3" movie.

Anna Kendrick released an Instagram post on January 5 that shared a picture of the Barden Bellas, whom she refers to as her "team":

As can be seen in the photo, the film features the return of Rebel Wilson (Fat Amy), Brittany Snow (Chloe), Ester Dean (Cynthia Rose), Hana Mae Lee (Lilly), Chrissie Fit (Flo), Anna Camp (Aubrey), Kelley Jakle (Jessica), and Shelley Regner (Ashley). However, Alexis Knapp, who plays promiscuous Stacie is not featuring in the photo. January 5 was the official first date of the shooting, as evidenced by the repost made by Ester Dean and Kelley Jakle on Instagram.

As far as the plot of "Pitch Perfect 3" is concerned, the Bellas may face new and interesting competition in the third instalment of the hit series. However, they are slated to feature a sing off against a group named "Dew". Only yesterday was it revealed that Andy Allo will be cast in the movie as a "Dew" singer called Charity. Andy Allo was discovered by the late musical sensation, Prince and serves a part of his remaining prodigy.

Will Hailee Steinfield reprise his role from "Pitch Perfect 2"? Some reports claim this, but there have been no concrete confirmations yet. However, there are some rumours that Australian actress and model, Ruby Rose may possibly feature in the third film of the series, "Pitch Perfect 3". Will she be a Barden Bella or their opponent?
