The second half of "Supergirl" season 2 returns later this month and fans are really excited to see the episode which will be directed by Kevin Smith. Smith has been preparing for the episode since August last year. Finally the official synopsis of the episode has been released by The CW.

Screen Crush reported that the episode is entitled "Supergirl Lives." In the episode, Kara is moved by the news about the missing woman named Izzy where she decides to investigate despite Snapper Carr's order to leave the case alone. Kara then takes Mon-El to the last place Izzy was seen where both of them discovers a portal to another planet called Slaver's Moon.

In the Slaver's Moon, some life forms are sold as slaves, and the leader fo the trafficking ring is none other than Roulette. The planet has a red sun that makes Kara and Mon-El vulnerable from their powers. The two are stuck in the planet and has no way home while back on Earth Alex Danvers blames herself for Kara's disappearance.

Smith's daughter Harley Quinn Smith have big role in "Supergirl" season 2 episode 9 where she will play the missing woman Izzy. The American director posted some photos on his Instagram account over the last few months where he presented the cast and crew with a wrap present and his signature jersey shirts to some cast.
