‘Forza Motorsport 7’ Release Date Could Happen This Year, Announced Prematurely By Gaming Steering Wheel Manufacturer
The "Forza Motorsport 7" release date is one of the highly anticipated events this year especially among racing title enthusiasts. With the stunning visuals and overwhelming selection of cars "Forza 6" has, racing gamers cannot help but long for the next installment for the vast enhancements it could bring.
While a "Forza Motorsport 7" has not been announced by developer Turn 10 Studios and developer Microsoft Studios, most gaming insiders assume that it is already in development at the moment. A highly successful gaming franchise such as Forza will not be successful for long unless it regularly injects new content into the market in order to keep its market share intact and the competition at bay.
But the latest indications seem to point out that the "Forza 7" release date could happen sooner than some might have expected. According to eagle-eyed observers, the game might have been prematurely revealed by a racing wheel manufacturer.
The slip was reported to have been committed by the CEO of Fanatec, manufacturer of steering wheels set up for high-end sim racing. Thomas Jackermeier, Fanatec CEO, asked input via its company's online forum by posting "what new features you would like to see supported in FM7," GameSpot reported.
In an update, Jackermeier revealed that he was actually meeting with "Forza Motorsport 6" developer Turn 10 Studios. The developer has a new "wheel guy" responsible for calibrating force feedback likely to be used for the upcoming "Forza 7," which still unannounced by its developer and publisher at this point.
But even without Fanatec's hints, gaming insiders have already estimated that the "Forza 7" release could happen this year. Recently, the franchise has been consistently launching new racing titles annually. For instance, "Forza Motorsports 6" launched in 2015, while last year saw the release of "Forza Horizon 3" and, if the trend continues, the latest title should likewise be released this year, PC Advisor reported.
Among the anticipated enhancements that the new title could bring is the introduction of dynamic weather and lighting. Gamers are likewise expecting the addition of more cars to its already impressive stable. Meanwhile, "Forza Motorsport 7" should it launches, is expected to be available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
