On January 13, Nintendo has promised to reveal details about its upcoming Nintendo Switch, which the company calls as a revolutionary console in the entire video gaming industry. The company announced the making of the Nintendo Switch console in March 2015 as the successor to the Wii U.

The Hybrid Console That Allows Playing From Everywhere

The first look of the Switch was revealed in the month of October 2016 by Nintendo. The Switch is a hybrid console that can be used as both a home console as well as a portable gaming device. The portable gaming device is built in and it comes with a 6.2 inches display offering a resolution of 720p allowing players to play their games even in outdoors, without having to sit in front of their TV all the time. It also offers a local multiplayer technology that will allow players to group and play together. Adding on, players can anytime bring it back to their home and place it on their Switch box to play the game on TV, as reported by Forbes.

The Detachable Joy-Cons And Other Interesting Specs

The hybrid console also comes with two controllers called as Joy-Cons placed on either side of the screen that can be used fixed to the screen or can be slid out to use them separately. Players can also fix the Joy-cons to the Joy Grip accessory which makes them separate controllers. On the technical aspect, the Nintendo Switch with be powered by Nvidia'sTegra Processor offering 4K visual resolution and a storage capacity of 32 GB and a 4GB of RAM, as reported by IGN.

Nintendo Switch Price & Release Date

The makers of the console will be revealing further details about the Switch via direct streaming to the whole world. Rumours suggest that the console will be out in the month of March, priced at about $225/£180 or more. The upcoming console is expected to support the games, "Zelda Breath of the Wild," a new "Super Mario Bros," "Skyrim" and many other interesting games.
