Three years after the ski accident that left famous racer Michael Schumacher seriously injured, more sponsors are pulling out their support for the Formula 1 legend. The public has been eager to know about his recovery and condition but his family have remained private about his development.

Latest sponsors to pull out

Audemars Piguet, a maker of luxury watch, and German door manufacturer Hormann have both ended their professional relationship with Schumacher. The pullout is believed to have resulted from the three-year absence of the F1 racer from the public eye.

It was also reported that Audemars Piguet has already withdrawn a line of their watches which was dedicated for Schumacher. The pullout of the sponsorship could have followed right after.

In the years that he remained confined inside his Swiss home, Michael Schumacher has already lost a number of sponsors including Erlinyou, Rosbacher, Jet Set and Navyboot. However, German financial company Deutsche Vermogensberatung has remained on his side and is even supporting the racing career of his son Mick.

Mick following father's footsteps

Even though the condition of Schumacher still remains a mystery after his 2013 ski crash at the French Alps, his fans are now shifting their attention to his son Mick, who is slowly following his father's footsteps. Ferrari has even expressed its willingness to welcome the younger Schumacher on their team.

Ferrari sporting director Massimo Rivola has lauded the skills and talent of Mick in racing. "Mick seems very polite and he's not full of himself. "He's very young, and he must manage a very huge media pressure. But he is doing it very well," Rivola added.

Mick has done well in the Formula 4 series and is now practicing and preparing for the European Formula 3 Championship. He could might as well be the next big thing after his dad.
