The vivo V5 Plus is set to be made official later this week and now, it is already available to pre-order which is specifically listed in a Malaysian retailer DirectD for $400 (RM 1,799). Vivo is known for its self-focused handsets and the V5 Plus is no exception. The company has already verified that it will boast a dual-camera setup for selfies.

According to BGR, The vivo V5 Plus is up for pre-order at its full price which will be officially unveiled on January 20. As per the listing on the website, the pre-orders will start shipping on the day after the official debut. Customers who will pre-order will be able to avail a set of exclusive free gifts alongside with a mystery gift though the listing didn't mention what exactly these gifts are.

The vivo V5 Plus, as listed, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 2 GHz chipset with octa-core Processor and Adreno 506 GPU. It has a 5.5-inch full display with an IPS LCD Capacitive TouchScreen and protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass (2.5D Curved Glass) as well as a 4GB RAM, a 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256 GB via MicroSD.

Furthermore, the vivo V5 Plus is pre-installed with an Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system which also features a Funtouch OS 3.0. In terms of its camera, it boasts a 16-megapixels (4608 x 3456 Pixels) rear camera with a phase detection autofocus and LED flash.

Meanwhile, its front-facing dual camera has 20 megapixels and 8 megapixels respectively. The two cameras will reportedly offer more depth-of-field which allows users to tweak their selfie-background after the shot has been captured or even in real-time.

Moreover, it has a dimension of 152.58 x 74 x 7.26 mm and weighs 158 grams. The handset is also packed with a Li-Ion 3160 mAh battery.
