Chocobos, which are large bird-like creatures, are a "Final Fantasy" series staple and they are back in "Final Fantasy XV." Noctis will also be able to accept various chocobo-themed sidequests from a non player character (NPC) named Wiz, who also manages "Wiz's Chocobo Post."

According to IGN, players can access Wiz's first quest once you finish the quest "Friend of a Feather" and the hunt "A Behemoth Undertaking." In "Where the Wild Chocobos Are," the party can receive 500 EXP, Xelphatol Apple Seeds, Doman Plum Pits, and Mamook Pear Seeds.  The seeds and pits will change your chocobo's colors.

The NPC Wiz will ask Noctis (and Prompto) to photograph a chocobo by the Behemoth Deadeye's lair. Go back to where you fought Deadeye, and look for the chocobo. Follow the on-screen prompts when you are close enough to the chocobo to make Prompto take the photo. Return to Wiz once you are done.

For "Bird on the Brink," players will receive 1,000 EXP. Talk to Wiz again, then head to the quest marker on your map. The injured chocobo is located south of the Cauthess area. Use a potion to heal the chocobo, then return to Wiz.

In "A Feathery Feast," rewards include 1,500 EXP and the Fat Chocobo Triple-Decker recipe for Ignis.  Wiz will now send you to a new area on the map.  At the quest location, look for the Aegir Root. After you find the ingredient, return to Wiz at the Chocobo Post.

According to Samurai Gamers, the "Final Fantasy XV" side quest "Chase That Chocobo!" will reward you with 2,000 EXP, Valfruit Seeds, O'Ghomoro Berry Seeds, Cieldalaes Pineapple Seeds, and Han Lemon Seeds. Wiz will ask Noctis to go to the Three Valleys to rescue another injured chocobo, which is near some wreckage in front of the largest barn at the quest marker. Do take note that some Saberclaws will attack you in this area. Use a potion to heal the chocobo, then go back to Wiz.

"Savior of the Species" is Wiz's last quest, and it can only be done once you reach "Final Fantasy XV" Chapter 7. Upon completion, you will receive 2,500 EXP. Wiz will send you to a new quest marker where you will need to fight some Sahagins. Once you defeat the enemies, approach the egg near the lake. The quest will end after a few days, and Wiz will call you to come and see the egg as it hatches. Leave the Chocobo Post and do other quests or hunts while waiting, then return once you receive the call.
