‘Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’ To Roll Out Leaderboards This Month In Community Update; Combat Records In February
Arianne GiftAnnouncing some of their plans for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," developer Infinity Ward has posted its January 2017 Community Update. The development team announced that leaderboards will be finally launched this month. Come February, both Combat Records and in the in-game Emblem Editor will be rolled out as well.
"Before the end of this month we'll roll out Leaderboards, and by late February we'll release Combat Records and the in-game editor that allows for custom emblem creation," Infinity Ward announced on Reddit. "We know everyone is anxious to get their hands on these features and we're doing everything we can to finish testing, wrap them up, and get them out to you."
Once the leaderboards go live, players of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will see what specific rank is in that list 10,000. Additionally, the leaderboards will tell what percentile a player is in overall. A friend leaderboards will be made available as well, where gamers can view a comparison of how a friend is doing on a weekly, monthly, and all-time basis.
Infinity Ward noted that the leaderboards will be populated once it's live, but the team told fans "don't fret" if you're unable to see all your data immediately. Infinity Ward added they will be giving more updates on the leaderboards once it's launched.
In other "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" news, Infinity Ward is hard at work on new ideas and new games to improve support for all players, as well as to keep things more exciting, PlayStation Lifestyle reported. The developer has just announced that the Tactical TDM is now a permanent game mode, to the delight of fans but there's more to come. The team revealed that featured modes in the future will be made available for the whole week, rather than just the weekend.
The first expansion for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," Sabotage, premieres January 31 for PlayStation 4. The PlayStation Store says it will unlock at 12am ET on January 31, and anyone who pre-orders the DLC or owns the Season Pass will receive an exclusive Zombies dynamic theme.
