Eminem New Song: Rapper Big Sean Talks About Song Collab, Why He Thinks Eminem Is The Biggest Of All Time
Van DRapper Big Sean only has good words for multi-Grammy winner Eminem. The two rappers are reportedly collaborating on a single, bound to release soon.
During an interview with Westwood, Big Sean shared some details about his collaboration project with Eminem. The two recently worked on their upcoming track, titled "No Favors." The song will most likely be included in Big Sean's highly anticipated fourth studio album, "I Decided." The fusion track with Eminem marks a major milestone for Big Sean.
After Big Sean heard Eminem's work on "No Favors," he was reminded of the first time that he heard his fellow Detroit-native rapper from an excitement standpoint. He always looked up to Eminem when he was growing up and establishing his own career. He said that he felt very excited about hearing Eminem's parts in the track.
Sean let Westwood have an early preview of "No Favors." Afterwards, the radio jocky said that he has not heard Eminem sound that good for years. Zane Lowe also heard the track and commented that Eminem did not even sound like himself. Sean explained that Eminem has always been able to create various rap styles, which also inspired him to set himself apart from other rappers. He continued that he always tries to push his efforts and create something new and different.
Big Sean continued to praise Eminem for his accomplishments in the music industry, having earned 240 awards, including 15 Grammys, four BRITs and an Oscar. He added that he felt like Eminem has been very successful throughout his entire career. Based on the numbers, he deems Eminem the biggest of all time.
In a 2014 report by MTV.com, Big Sean has rapped with other greats like Jay Z and Kanye West. Before "No Favors," Big Sean also worked with Eminem in "Detroit Vs. Everybody." At the time, Sean already mentioned that for him, Eminem is the greatest rapper, and it was an honor to do the song with his idol.
"I Decided" is set to launch on Feb. 3, 2017, featuring previously released hit singles like "Bounce Back," "Moves" and "No More Interviews." More updates and details on Eminem and Big Sean are expected soon.
