'Pokemon Sun and Moon' Latest News, Update: Nintendo Bans Cheaters From Using Online Services
Switchy Sam"Pokemon Sun and Moon" took the players by storm all thanks to the new generation Pokemon and a brand new story. Nintendo has reportedly banned nearly about 6,000 players from using the game's main online feature, dubbed the Global Link. Of course, there are numerous programs on the internet that dissects the game and players can edit things to gain an upper hand. But, gamers should now be extra careful while playing "Pokemon Sun and Moon" as Nintendo is keeping a close eye on their activities.
Play the game fairly or face the consequences
Recently, Polygon reported that nearly 6,000 players have been banned for cheating and the number is huge considering a million players playing the "Pokemon Sun and Moon." There are hack tools and cheat codes that are emerging online. Notably, players who will be caught using unfair cheats and codes wll face a permanent ban from participating in global missions, rating battles and competitions. The players will receive an error code when trying to connect to the internet and use these features.
Nintendo had already warned players about duplicating the game and forwarding copies without taking permission from the original game developers. Nintendo dished out a warning and also punished players who violated the sacred rules in "Pokemon Sun and Moon." The video shows the talk about illegal copies, which banned violators from playing the game.
In line with the third Global Link mission in "Pokemon Sun and Moon," more information about the punishment and banning of cheaters in the game can be found on the official Global Link website in Japanese.
