‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Spoiler & Update: Elena’s Disappearance; Caroline and Bonnie Ready to Help Damon

Since Elena Gilbert, played by Nina Dobrev, left the show in its sixth season, fans have already formulated questions, predictions, and rumors regarding her comeback. The CW Network previously claimed that a bunch of characters will return for the last seven episodes of season 8.
One of the returning cast members will be Liz Forbes. She will be a part of Damon's mind as reported by TV Fanatic. This will reportedly be teased in the official trailer preview of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 episode 10.
In the case of Damon, he appears to break free from Sybil's curse of influence. He still values his love for Elena, but he still fights the temptation to control himself from the issue. It can't be denied that love is still the main theme of the series.
"Elena was still a light that gives guidance in Damon's life even cast in the darkness has some questions by her absence," actor Ian Somerhalder said in an interview with TV Line.
"The Vampire Diaries" season 8 episode 10 will be entitled "Nostalgia's Bitch" and will focus on Sybil putting Damon into a difficult situation, with Bonnie and Caroline being a part of the story by entering Damon's mind.
"Nostalgia's Bitch" will be aired this Friday, January 27 at 8 PM EST on The CW.
