'Sims 4' Mods Make A Great Difference In Both Appearance & Gameplay Including Vampires

Switchy Sam

Gamers are undoubtedly enjoying the Electronic Arts' "Sims 4" latest vampire update. The Vampire downloadable content featured a new playable and modifiable Vampire Sim. This DLC gives players the option to turn their Sims into vampires. Moreover, as a vampire, their Sims will have different and additional needs such as plasma (blood) and sleep during the day.

Vampire changes around the neighborhood

Kotaku reported about tips and tricks to make the player's vampire Sim more efficient. There are skill points that players should assign and Vampire meter they need to watch. Since Vampire Sims cannot go out during the day, players should change their timeframe at night and be nocturnal.

In addition, the game warns them about the Vampire meter going down when they come in contact with the Sun. Moreover, players should invest points on the "Occult Student" skill. By leveling up this skill, Vampire Sims slowly deplete some of their vampire energy. Most importantly, by investing six points into it, Vampire Sims will unlock amazing powers. Some of the powers include making other Sims to clean for them or using the Vampiric charm to have more success in romance. Players should also remember the unlocking system. Once they unlocked powers, they also must choose a weakness.

Two mods for the Vampires DLC

There are two mods for the latest Vampire expansion in "Sims 4." These two are mentioned in the report from SimsVIP. First, the "Neighborhood Protection - No Vampires!" mod will help players avoid vampires in the game. To put it simply, no vampires will come in contact with the player's Sim. The "Vampire Gated Community" mod will sort out Human Sims from Vampire Sims. In order to invite the Human Sims to the Forgotten Hollow, the vampires' world, the player needs to invite them or turn them into Vampires.
