Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 News: Smartphone Has 2 Different Processors & Sensors
Since most of the components of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 are not secured by screws, it is easy to take the smartphone from China apart. A team from a tech website took the gadget apart and after they placed it back together made the device work again.
To open a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, all that is needed is a screwdriver or a similar tool to pry the aluminum back cover apart. Removing each component is not difficult since the part is either glued or fastened to the chassis by double-sided tape, the team from Fone Arena discovers.
Different Processors & Sensors
Another discovery by the team is Xiaomi uses two different types of processors and sensors for the Redmi Note 4. One set is made up of a Snapdragon 625 paired with a Sony IMX 258 sensor (13MP/1.12µm), while the other set is made up of a MediaTek Helio X20 paired with a Samsung S5K3L8 ISOCELL sensor (13MP/1.12µm), GSM Arena reports.
Meanwhile, Zeebiz reports that Xiaomi would hold another flash sale for the Redmi Note 4 on Feb. 3 at 12 noon. During the first flash sale, Xiaomi says almost 2.5 million units of the model were sold in 10 minutes on Flipkart and Mi.com.
Color & Price Options
On Flipkart, only the gray and gold color options would be available since the matte black variant is still unavailable for now. In terms of variants, there would be two options – the 32GB RAM with 32GB internal memory for Rs. 10,999 or the 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage which is a bit costlier at Rs. 12,999. There is actually a third variant, the 2GB RAM with 32GB internal storage with a price tag of Rs. 9,999, but like the matte black version, it is still not for sale.
