‘Tales of Berseria’ Guide: Grade Shop Info; How To Earn Grade & Where To Farm

Arianne Gift

Hardcore "Tales of Berseria" fans know the Grade Shop all too well. The shop is now back with a more traditional form, waiting to reward players for their performance in battle. Read on to know more.

For the uninitiated, the Grade Shop is a store where you buy upgrades, buffs and the like, which then carry over into your New Game Plus playthrough. A bevy of boons and an assortment of buffs are available for all, which will make the second run of "Tales of Berseria" a lot easier. Better yet, more interesting.

How to Earn Grade

The currency used in the shop is called Grade. The quickest way to get it is to set off into the world and battle enemies. The best thing about it is that even after "Tales of Berseria" ends, players can still go back to their save files to farm Grade before starting the actual story.

The basic premise to earning Grade is to do your best in each battle. It should be noted that the higher the level of difficulty is, more Grade will be earned per battle. Of course, a player has to consider how comfortable he is in a specific difficulty level. Make sure you can confidently whack off enemies on one level first, before deciding to go higher.

Where to Do Your Best Grade Farming

In "Tales of Berseria," the ideal enemy to farm is the Code Red Daemons found in the Code Red Hunts. RPG Site says that these vicious enemies have better grade bonus if you defeat them well. Players should also look out for the Marathoner's Ventite, which can be unlocked in the Palamides Temple. This offers a bonus for chaining battles together, which means if you succeed on successive battles, you'll get a greater Grade bonus.
