Earlier reports from data-miners that Vvardenfell of "The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind" will make a comeback through "The Elder Scrolls Online" is finally confirmed. Vvardenfell is the mainland in Morrowind region which is one of the more recognizable maps for fans of the franchise.

It appears that leakers have hit a home run when Bethesda announced in a Twitch live stream that the upcoming expansion is indeed titled Morrowind. Developers have also confirmed that the new "The Elder Scrolls Online" map is to be situated in the north-eastern Tamriel.

Vvardenfell will be available starting June 6 when the expansion launches. Bethesda promises a nostalgic travel, yet a different atmosphere, because this upcoming map is set 700 years before the original "The Elder Scrolls III" timeline. This expansion throws back fans to the days when the iconic city of Vivec was still under construction.

Newbie and veteran players alike will surely get enticed with the idea of skipping previous ESO quests and contents. It is possible to jump into Morrowind Vvardenfell by simply creating a fresh character, according to GameSpot. Another bonus is level-correct contents as soon as the expansion hits the road.

Perhaps the biggest draw for the Morrowind expansion is the character called Warden. These heroes usually wield magically-imbued weapons to decimate enemies. A cool addition to this melee ESO character is his pet known as the War Bear. While Warden looks more inclined for campaign, "The Elder Scrolls Online" will also feature PvP combat. Combatants will be pitted against each other in a four-against-four setting.

For the pricing, current "Elder Scrolls Online" players can make for the cheapest option which is upgrading for $40. Those who are yet to start their whole ESO journey can opt for a Standard Edition which contains both Tamriel Unlimited and Morrowind for $60. Lastly, die-hard fans can purchase the coveted Collector's Edition, replete with Dwarven statuette, journal, Morrowind map, exclusive case and other goodies for $100.
