'Stardew Valley' Release Date: Collector’s Edition To Hit Stores Shelves In April [VIDEO]; Nintendo Switch To Set Stage For Portable Farming?
Vinay PatelNot too long ago, Chucklefish Games' indie farming simulation video game, "Stardew Valley" was made playable on consoles. Now, it looks like the game developer is bent on keeping avid gamers interested in every plausible way it can.
A recent tweet from Chucklefish Games' Tom Coxon, which comprised a couple of identical photos, stirred conversations among avid gamers. The photos captioned stated that the most important skill required for bringing in multiplayer to a game is being an expert at playing spot-the-difference.
The said tweet further deemed the images as the frame of reference of two different players in one game. The tweet suggested that the left image had more gold compared to the other.
It is highly likely that this could hint at the upper hand a player usually has while playing "Stardew Valley" multiplayer. Although competition is not undemanding, the outcome is expected to be worth the hard pull.
Chucklefish Games is still hard at works on the multiplayer mode and there's no release date associated with the title yet. The studio has confirmed a physical release for "Stardew Valley" console version.
Avid gamers can get their hands on the collector's edition of "Stardew Valley" by shelling out $29, but they should bear in mind that it has only a few items. Items in the physical version, on the other hand, include a mini iteration of Kari Fry's guidebook, "Stardew Valley" soundtrack and a Pelican Town map fold-out poster.
Moreover, the game will be heading to Nintendo's latest console, Switch. "Stardew Valley" does not restrict players as far as control over characters is concerned. Players gaining possession of a plot of land must choose between lands depending on play styles.
The physical Collector's Edition of the "Stardew Valley" is slated to hit the store shelves on April 11 on Xbox One and PS4, according to Polygon. Meanwhile, another report from iDigitalTimes claims that the Nintendo Switch edition will pave the way for Portable Farming.
Furthermore, Switch will let users play the game while on the move even when a certain part of the game has been played on TV. Stay tuned in here for more updates!
