Xiaomi's recently held flash sale for its brand new flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, immediately sold out in its first few minutes. The brand new successor to the company's highly successful Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 smartphone was originally released last month, but it seems like the company is having a hard time keeping up with the demand.

The company, which is known to be the Apple of the East, has had immense success with its smartphone offerings given that they do provide a lot of high-end hardware for relatively low prices. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, for example, has sold millions of units in Asia, resulting in billions of dollars in revenue for the company.

It is, therefore, understandable that there would be such a high demand for the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone as it still has the same DNA as its predecessor. The smartphone comes in a full metal unibody design with a curved back panel. The device sports a 5.5-inch full HD display and a class leading 4,100 mAh battery.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is powered by a highly capable Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with an Adreno 506 GPU. A Mediatek version with a Deca-core MT6797 Helio X20 CPU was also previously released. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is available with 2GB, 3GB, or 4GB of RAM and the models also have varying amounts of internal storage.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is being sold exclusively on Flipkart and on Mi.com. Unfortunately, both sites still list the products as out of stock. Xiaomi's official website, however, does mention that they will be holding another flash sale next week, on Feb. 22. Those who want to pick up their own Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone would be right in marking their calendars as previous flash sales had seen the supplies go out of stock in just the first hour of the sale.
