Samsung To Release Galaxy Tab S3 in MWC 2017?
Samsung’s new super-sized tablet will be launched at a press event in the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, according to speculations. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 would be rolled out together with the new S Pen Stylus.
Similar to Galaxy Tab S2
The German website Win Future revealed an image of the Galaxy Tab S3 online, featuring a thick black bezel surrounding the screen. The image looks a lot like the last-generation Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, Express reports.
Unlike the speculated Galaxy S8 which is rumored not to have a home button, the Galaxy Tab S3 has a physical home button at the tablet’s bottom, besides virtual buttons for “other apps” and “back.” Although the upcoming tablet would have the S Pen Stylus, there is no port to store the device which could imply it would be an optional extra for consumers.
The screen of the Galaxy Tab S3 would be a 9.7-inch display, bigger than the 8-inch screen of the Galaxy Tab 2. The screen has a 1,536 x 2,048 resolution with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
New Color Choice
Buyers would have a choice between a 4G/LTE model and a Wi-Fi model only, while color choices include the new silver color scheme on top of the usual white and black. Run by a Snapdragon 820 processor and with a 4GB RAM and 32GB storage, the Galaxy Tab S3 sports a 12MP back shooter and a 4.7MP selfie camera.
CNET adds the Galaxy Tab S3 would have the Android 7.0 Nougat OS, feature an optional keyboard and cover case and have a starting price of $600. It says the Galaxy Tab S3 has big shoes to fill since its precedent, the Galaxy Tab S2, is considered one of the best tablets on the market when it debuted in the U.S. in 2015 with a price of $250. While its price was mid range, it delivered all the features and performance that made it a compelling alternative to more expensive models, even iPad Air 2.
