Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 receives Wi-Fi certification along with leaked information about its specs and features. The latest and upcoming smartphone from Samsung will focus more on the durability side while maintaining the excellent quality of its performance. According to GSMArena, the smartphone appeared on the GFXBench benchmarking website.

OS and Display

Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 is said to run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat while the display will be a 4.8-inches screen with 1280x720pixels resolution. In addition, the touchscreen has a 5-finger gesture support.

CPU, memory, and battery

Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4's CPU is the Cortex A53 - ARMv8 quad-core at 1.4GHz. The smartphone is said to have a 2 GB RAM with 16 GB memory, says GSMArena. The two cameras, one on the front and the back, will have a greater capture potential as well. The front camera has 5 megapixels while the back camera has 13 megapixels. The graphics or GPU is said to be Mali-T720, says AndroidHeadlines. On the other hand, the Samsung Exynos 7570 processor is said to power Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4, says Geeky Gadgets.

Furthermore, Geekbench did not mention anything about Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4's price and its availability. However, since the announcement of the wi-fi certification and benchmarking websites, the smartphone will be expected sooner. With the Mobile World Congress coming closer, the smartphone may be launched together with the upcoming handsets from Samsung themselves. But then again, it is rash to make conclusions without an official announcement. That is the reason why, people and customers should wait for further announcements about Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4's details, price, and release.

Regarding the scores on Geekbench, the smartphone scored 599 points on the single-core while 1,734 points on the multi-core. Customers/people are expecting the smartphone to have temperature/altimeter sensors on it. Again, it is important to wait for further announcements from Samsung regarding Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 and the leaks mentioned are foundations and assumptions to be proven by Samsung themselves.
