With just over a week since its release, "Nioh" has just received yet another post-launch support in the update 1.03 patch. There is also certain mention of other minor bugs being fixed with this update but the specifics on those are scanty.

This "Nioh" update1.03 patch is reportedly just a 32MB download and adds a downpour of game balance adjustments and several bug fixes. The patch notes come from the official Twitter account of Team Ninja. That said, it is safe to say Team Ninja is truly dedicated to supporting the game and the community it has developed.

Balance Adjustments And Increased Rewards

The balance changes in random encounters included in the update have the adjusted Amrita regeneration from extraction talisman while using living weapon. It also added forging the item for trade at the hidden tea house. An adjustment in the paralysis effect of Medusa's power and increased rewards for random encounters are also included.

Patch Notes 1.03 Bug Fixes

Moreover, the notable fixes include a bug that prevented unlocking the title "Saika Magoichi" crusher and a bug that caused the emotion tutorial window to remain throughout the Daizaifu main mission. Also, the issue that sometimes prevented completing the sub-mission "The Magatama of Fire, A Fiercer Flame" has now been fixed.

The "Nioh" update 1.02 released recently appears to have been a 400MB download. If the user bought the Deluxe Edition, an issue where the Season Pass wouldn't show up properly has been fixed, writes PlayStation LifeStyle.

"Nioh" now earned a reputation of being among the most difficult RPGs in years. A consistently engaging action game with clever warfare and impressive bosses, with intense, multi-target engagements. "Nioh" presents a level of difficulty that will certainly test even the most toughened samurai's skills, strategy and patience. With this type of game, players will need all the balancing and bug fixes, if any.

"Nioh" is available at $59.99 exclusively on the PS4. The game's post-launch DLC includes three story chapters and each comes with new quests and enemies. Keep posted for news and updates when the first pack has a release date.
