‘Pokemon Go’ Latest Update: 80 New Pokemon from ‘Pokemon Silver’ & ‘Pokemon Gold’ Added; the Game World is Expanded?
"Pokemon Go" newest update will add more than 80 Pokemon that were originally unveiled in the Johto region in the "Pokemon Gold" and "Pokemon Silver" video games. In addition, Pokemon with gender-specific variations will be included as well in the latest version.
Several Pokemon that will be part of the "Pokemon Go" update are Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. The company further says that Trainers will encounter these Pokemon 'in the wild' as they embark on their adventures and explore their neighborhood and cities to catch Pokemon.
There are at least four Pokemon that Trainers can catch and hoard before the new update released, consisting of Eevee, Slowpoke, Chansey, and Gloom. Those four Pokemon mentioned above can be evolved into its powerful second evolution once the latest version arrived, as reported by travelerstoday.
The "Pokemon Go" neo-evolution update will allow players to evolve their captured Pokemon into its second evolution form. Furthermore, the game's Nanab Berry will have effect in slowing Pokemon's movement, while the Pinap Berry will double the amount of candy received if the next catch attempt is successful.
The upcoming new version of "Pokemon Go" also has novel features in gameplay, including new encounter gameplay, new evolution items, two new berries, and more outfit and accessory options for the Trainer Avatars. However, Niantic still hasn't said any comment on when it will release this update.
The same report can be found in bgr that Niantic CEO John Hanke states that the company's team has been working very hard to deliver the additional Pokemon and improve the encounter and capture mechanics of "Pokemon Go". John continues saying that Niantic will keep supporting and enhancing the game system, in-game live events, and add more Pokemon to be discovered in the near future.
