Two of the most awaited smartphones in 2017 are the LG G6 and the Samsung Galaxy S8. These two devices are set to introduce great features for smartphone fans and users.

Though both phones have not yet been announced by their respective brands, expected features for both the LG G6 and the Samsung Galaxy S8 are already appearing online. Here are some of the features and specs comparison of both devices:

Phone models and display

In a report, KnowYourMobile said that that Samsung Galaxy S8 could come in two models: a 5.2-inch variant and a bigger 6.2-inch Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. Both options could introduce curved displays. On the other hand, the LG G6 could only have only one variant with a 5.7-inch screen.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 may also have a 4K display and a high resolution as indicated by the same report. Meanwhile, the LG G6 could have a QHD+ display which is a usual offering by LG.

Battery

BGR added that big improvements in the battery will come for both devices. The LG G6, for example, could be released with a 3,200 mAh battery which is bigger by 400 mAh than the previous model. The battery, however, cannot be replaced by the user of the phone because LG is hoping to introduce a waterproof design.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is thought to have a 3,000 mAH battery which is almost the same with the offering of the Samsung Galaxy S7. The battery of the smartphone is a big help for the users since it will determine how one will maximize the specs and features of the handset.

Processor

In terms of processor, the Samsung Galaxy S8 could sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipsets while the LG G6 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 CPU. Samsung is said to be stronger in this front compared to LG.

When they come out this year, both smartphones from Samsung and LG are aiming to impress users with the new features they are set to introduce. What other things do you want to see in the upcoming devices?
