The reign of Dragonite in "Pokemon GO" may be finally over, the Gen 2 update has introduced a number of johto Pokemon that can challenge Dragonite's reign as the best "Pokemon GO" gym defender. In fact, players of the popular AR mobile game have already reported seeing Blissey walls in the game.

Dragonite may be considered as not only the most reliable Gym defender but also the favorite among trainers in "Pokemon GO." Before the "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 update, Dragonite has the strongest Max CP and is often regarded as the strongest Pokemon in the game.

With the recent Gen 2 "Pokemon GO" update, two new pocket monsters are set to challenge Dragonite's reign as the strongest Pokemon. In fact, a number of trainers have already noticed the shakeup in "Pokemon GO" Gyms worldwide.

According to Kotaku, trainers should not be surprised if they see Blissey walls at Pokemon Gyms on their neighborhood. Blissey 229 defense rating and 510 stamina rating is ideal to make the Pokemon a dependable gym defender.

Blissey's extremely high health level did not came as a surprise as the pocket monster has been known in other Pokemon games as a tank capable of withstanding heavy damage. The same thing can be said with the "Pokemon GO" version of Blissey.

The pink, round and always smiling pocket monster can just be left out to defend a gym. Because of Blissey's high stamina and defense, it is most likely that the timer will run out before opposing trainers can knock down the tanky yet adorable creature.

Blissey may just be the "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 update's strongest Gym defender, this does not, however, mean that trainers will be seeing all over the place. For one, Chansey is one of the hardest Pokemon to find in the game. And even if a trainer has a Chansey, 50 candies are required to evolve it to a Blissey.
