The Samsung Galaxy Book & Galaxy TabPro S2: Windows 10 App Leaked Details
Gloven RamosIn an application released by Samsung on the Windows Store this week, rumors about a device initially dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy Book has started to spread online. The app called Book Settings, mentioned the new Samsung device in its description that read "The Book Settings is an application for Galaxy Book. It may not function normally on other devices."
With the release of the Book Settings app, some features of the possible Samsung Galaxy Book were also leaked. In the app's description, it suggests that the device will have an active stylus pen, a battery life extender and AMOLED screen. The Samsung Galaxy Book has yet to be confirmed, but the evidence of the Book Setting app's description is strong enough to make tech fanatics expect another new device from the company.
Meanwhile, the South Korean company is reportedly planning to release another table which could be the successor of the Samsung Galaxy TabPro. According to rumors, the device will be called the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2, FCC noted.
As reported by The Leaker, some of the possible specs and features of the rumored Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2 are a 12-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD, 2160 x 1440 resolution, 3.1 GHz Intel Core i5-7200U 7th Gen, Kaby Lake and 4GB of RAM with 128GB SSD. The new device is rumored to be powered by Windows 10 Home or Pro.
The certainty of these devices are still in the shadows, however, Samsung is holding a press event at Mobile World Congress before this month ends. There, many news about the company's plan are expected to be revealed, including updates about the Samsung Galaxy Book and Galaxy TabPro S2 devices.
