Previously on "Pokémon GO," players had a hard time catching Togetic in the wild, venting out their frustrations on social media. Most Trainers have complained they had to wipe out their entire stock of Ultra Balls and Berries just to catch the Gen 2 Flying/Fairy-type monster. Fortunately, Niantic Labs seems to have rolled out an update so players can own Togepi's evolved form easier.

The good guys at The Silph Road made another "Pokémon GO" update over at Reddit to inform players that the settings for Togetic in the Game Maser file have been changed. Instead of Togetic's former one percent rate, its base flee rate has now been upgraded to five percent. What this means is, Trainers' chances of catching Togetic in the wild have been upsized.

Although the upgrade in Togetic's base flee rate doesn't seem way too impressive, the modification actually makes the elusive Pokémon just as catchable as Dragonite. Previously, Dragonite was also elusive in "Pokémon GO," with a capture rate of four percent, according Reddit user rezecib. Similar to what Charizard, Venusaur and Blastoise had, Niantic also modified its base flee rate to five percent.

Meanwhile, Trainers who got lucky with the "Pokémon GO" update shared their experience on The Silph Road's thread. User Ross123123 wrote: "That's why it only took me 4 Ultra Balls, I was expecting it to be a lot harder when I found one earlier." Another Reddit user with the handle JMata4572 stated: "1 Berry + 1 Great Ball... thought I was Neo for a little while before reading this."

Reddit user deevee12 also started a thread detailing Togetic's improved catch rate. The response of the many trainers is generally positive, commending Niantic's move to make "Pokémon GO" more enjoyable without compromising its challenging aspect.
