"Final Fantasy XV: A King's Tale" spin-off game is now free for everyone. The game will be available starting March 1, 2017.

"Final Fantasy XV: A King's Tale" spin-off game was previously released as a GameStop pre-order bonus for PS4 and Xbox One. The exclusive game is now available for everyone to download for free. The news was first released by the European distributor Koch Media and was later confirmed by the North American arm of Square Enix to Dual Shockers. The company also clarified that it will be free for everyone and not just for players who purchased "Final Fantasy XV."

"Final Fantasy XV: A King's Tale" will be available for free on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store. The game features a fairy tale narrated by King Regis to his young son Noctis, which stars the King himself, along with Cid, Clarus and Weskham. "Final Fantasy XV: A King's Tale" casts players as a young King Regis fighting to save the crown city with the help of his friends. In the game, players can also employ air combos, magic, and summons on their journey. According to Game Informer, the story takes place 30 years before the events of "Final Fantasy XV."

The game has a Deep Combat System, which includes combos, counters and King Regis' signature Warp Strike. Moreover, it has a combination of lightning-fast real-time fighting that rewards fast reflexes and smart tactics. "Final Fantasy XV: A King's Tale" also features three unique companions, as well as distinct and fresh ways to attack and custom-made super moves that deal immense damage.

The presence of magic is also notable. Players can freeze nemeses or ignite battlefields. You can also electrify your enemies using Ice, Fire and Lightning magic. "Final Fantasy XV: A King's Tale" also features Summons. You can call epic Astral entities to slaughter your enemies in the most awesome ways possible.
