Fans of "State of Decay" that was first introduced on Xbox 360 will definitely find it exciting that news and details about "State of Decay 2" are going consistent. There have been launch of new concept arts plus pieces of information about the sequel. Apart from that, Undead Labs has confirmed that the game will be featured on Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 this year.

Undead Labs' announcement of "State of Decay 2" first happened on E3 last year. Months after, the developers released new concept arts every now and then. Then back in December, they have done an interview with IGN where they answered a few questions about the game.

During the interview, they confirmed that "State of Decay 2" will be bigger than its predecessor. "I know 'SoD' fans are hungry for details on number and size of maps, regions, kilometers of playable area, etc, but we're not quite ready for that. For now, suffice it to say that the playable area is substantially larger than 'State of Decay," Undead Labs CEO Jeff Strain said.

They have done this as an answer to the millions of "State of Decay" players wishing for a better and bigger gameplay with their friends. With that, they also confirmed that "State of Decay 2" will feature a four player co-op according to Christian Post.

The setting of "State of Decay 2" was also released. The game will still happen in a rural setting. However, a recent concept art for the game was published by Undead Labs. They said the game will have a more industrialized area where players can explore.

The upcoming E3 conference that will happen on June 13-15 at the Los Angeles Convention Center will be Undead Labs and Microsoft's chance to bring news about "State of Decay 2." Apparently, Microsoft will also be revealing more about Project Scorpio.
