"Star" Season 2 Renewal Update: Fox Confirms Series Return!
Rommel"Star" Season 2 Renewal Update - it looks like the new show is getting a comeback and will shine longer! Fox finally confirms that the show will be back for a second season. The show produced by Lee Daniels will be premiering soon with thirteen episodes.
"Star" Season 2 Renewal Update: The said return is a surprise given the fact that it is not doing so well in the rating game. The musical drama is performing poorly but the network makes this move and it actually made sense and not surprising after all. The show ranks as their third best drama even if its following declined since its premiere. "Empire" and "Lethal Weapon" are the other two shows doing better than "Star."
Fox does not really have a wide range of show so "Star" Season 2 renewal updates were flying already even before this confirmation. Still, Fox is struggling after they ended "American Idol," wagering on filling the void left by the said show. With the show on the fold, it can be expected that they will have a full line-up come winter. Performing worse than its contemporaries, "Star" Season 2 renewal update is here for scheduling purposes. It is also a good show but "Empire" is planned to be kept for just sixteen episodes. The show will fill the void after its finale. Crossovers can also be done if Fox wants to head that direction.
Season 2 will most probably premiere at the end of the year or early 2018. Aside from this show, others that are in limbo are "Gotham", "Scream Queens", "Pitch", "The Exorcist" and "Rosewood." Along with this "Star" Season 2 renewal update, Fox is also hoping that the show will be able to gain a following and a third season may actually be renewed if it performs a lot better. For now, watch the latest promo for "Star" Season 1 Episode 10 here:
