A Trainer over at Reddit is claiming that he has mapped data to the Evolutions and found a way to know if the "Pokémon GO" Gen 2 baby Tyrogue is going to evolve to Hitmontop, Hitmonlee or Hitmonchan. Here's a way of finding out, according to the Redditor.

Among the over 80 Gen 2 Pokémon that arrived in "Pokémon GO" last week, baby Tyrogue has become one of the most coveted because of the fact that the adorable monster has three different Evolutions. Similar to Eevee's Evolutions, baby Tyrogue's evolved forms are different from one another and there has been no way of finding out which evolved form the monster is heading until now.

On The Silph Road subreddit, a thread authored by user DrWolfenstein indicates a research that numerous players helped in realizing just to know the dynamics of baby Pokémon Tyrogue. What the post contains is data from players who have already gotten a hold of Tyrogue to which evolved to any of its three evolved forms. The conclusion of the sheet is that there is a pattern that may help other Trainers to detect which Evolution Tyrogue is heading at.

According to DrWolfenstein's conclusion, the data is enough reason to believe that Tyrogue's Fighting-type Evolutions are dependent on the highest stat it holds. If its Attack is higher than the rest, the Tyrogue one has is likely to evolve to Hitmonlee. When Defense is above the others, it's quite possible that it's going to be Himonchan. On the other hand, when Stamina/HP is higher than the others, one should expect Hitmontop.

DrWolfenstein believes that the system will only choose the Tyrogue Evolution at random in the event that the stats of the player are equal. In case two stats are a tie, the system also gets to pick which Evolution to present to the Trainer.

As a reminder to interested players, Eurogamer says that Tyrogue can only be obtained through 5k Eggs. Also, only Pokémon Eggs collected after the Gen 2 Update was launched could contain Tyrogue. Therefore, players are advised to collect as many Eggs as possible now that the latest major update is live.
