'Red Dead Redemption 2' To Release In Fall 2017; Gameplay, Map, Trailer & What We Know So Far
Keisuke Akio"Red Dead Redemption 2" is confirmed to be released in fall 2017. Here is what we know so far including the gameplay, trailer and map, among others.
Rockstar has shared the first "Red Dead Redemption 2" trailer, providing us a momentary look at what to expect from the game. It presents some of the main characters, highlighting remarkable graphics and probably the introduction of the steam train. PC Advisor reported that there is a possibility for the game to make an appearance at E3 2017 in June. Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar, is listed as a participating company at the event.
Release Date
"Red Dead Redemption 2" is slated to be released in the fall of 2017. In October 2016, Rockstar Games announced on social media "Red Dead Redemption 2" would be released soon. It has also said a trailer would come out on October 20 at 11 a.m. EST. At present, you can pre-order it through retailers like GameStop, Amazon and GAME. Prices range between £45.99/$58 and £59.97/$70.
Gameplay and Map Speculations
"Red Dead Redemption 2" allegedly will have an online mode, although this has yet to be detailed like most other elements. The tipster, who accurately foretold two GTA Online updates in the past, now claims that the upcoming Rockstar title will have three playable main characters, in a similar fashion to "Grand Theft Auto 5."
There are also speculations that suggest "Red Dead Redemption 2" may, in fact, be a prequel to the earlier game, which apparently seems to be supported by the map. Theories about this seem to be believable because the map shows the lack of a railroad. Railroad plays an important part in "Red Dead Redemption."
