"Clash Royale" players did not receive the anticipated "Clash Royale" March 2017 update early this month. Supercell did not treat fans with any event or big update on the game's first anniversary. However, players did receive a notice via the game, stating that a special event will take place in a few hours. Moreover, a new "Team Battle" feature is also coming to the game. Two special events will reportedly be held and they are the Grand Draft Challenge and the Classic Draft Challenge. The latter has one free entry and will most-likely require 10 Gems as entry fee thereafter.

Although fans expected the "Clash Royale" March 2017 update to come, they are not disappointed as other features have been rolled out. The Grand Draft Challenge will cost 100 Gems to enter and will last from March 2-6. It has a unique way of how players and the enemy make each other's battle decks. Each player will have a choice between two cards, considering the fact that one battle deck has eight cards. According to IBT AU, when a card is picked, it is given to the other player. The process continues until the deck is complete. Every player is aware of four cards on the other person's deck. "Clash Royale" Draft Challenge includes all kinds of cards, including Legendaries and those that haven' been unlocked.

The "Clash Royale" Friendly Battles with clan mates takes place from March 2-6, whereas the Draft Challenge is from March 3-6. Meanwhile, the Team Battle update is not yet confirmed. A leaked photo from developer Lach recently surfaced on an online forum and it had information about the Tem Battle. Even though the leak happened via a "Clash Royale" forum, it should not be taken seriously, as no one really knows what exactly the leak suggests for the upcoming "Clash Royale" March 2017 update.

According to tweet shared by the official Twitter account of "Clash Royale," the developers thanked players for continued support. It tweeted a video of a cake exploding on the day of the anniversary. Stay tuned for more news about the rumored "Clash Royale" March 2017 update.
