'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' DLC Pack 3 Adds A Slew Of Playable Characters To The Mix [VIDEO]; New DLC To Center On Future Trunks Saga?

Looks like fans of Bandai Namco's hit RPG, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" are in for a treat! The game developer is said to be preparing to launch its new "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 3. Keeping up with its reputation of rolling out jaw-dropping iterations and expansions, the game developer and publisher recently announced the second DLC (downloadable content) pack for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."

Although the company has yet to formally announce the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 3, Bandai Namco has recently  rolled out "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 2,"  which comprised Universe 6 Saga of "Dragon Ball Super." In addition to that, Bandai Namco also gave avid gamers a peek at an extensive gameplay development in the next chapter in the popular Japanese anime series.

The impending "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2's" DLC Pack 3 will center on the Future Trunks Saga, Saiyan Island reported. The announcement was part of "DBX 2" DLC Pack 2 trailer. The DLC Pack 2 will be up for grabs for free to Season Pass subscribers.

There's also hearsay that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 3 will feature Zamasu, along with a slew of playable characters including Super Saiyan Rose Goku Black, Vegito, SSGSS, Magetta (Universe 6 arc character), and "Dragon Ball Z" Movie 9 heel Bojack, but that's not all; the DLC Pack 3 will also include Earth of Future Trunks as a playable stage.

'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' New Update

Meanwhile, "DBX 2" players can now access a new update on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The aforesaid update encompasses new Expert Missions (Broly and Janemba) in addition to five brand new attacks -- tail slicer, wild hunt, focus flash, menacing flare and jumping energy wave. The update also introduces new rules for the Tenkaichi Tournament, which could be a preparation for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 3. Furthermore, it adds Metal Cooler's suit, Android 15's clothes along with new Bido and Zangya costumes, according to PlayStation Lifestyle.

Often alluded to as the second Dragon Ball video game, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will debut on Nintendo Switch this year. The lauded sequel to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" currently boasts 126 playable characters including the notorious Goku Black.
