Xiaomi Mi 6 Release Date Confirmed For April 2017? 5.2-Inch Display With A 2.5D Glass, SD 835 SoC & Other Specs Revealed [VIDEO]
Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship smartphone has been subject to oodles of leaks and rumors with some going as far as pointing to mid-next month as the device's launch date.
According to a rumor stemming out of China, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will hit the store shelves on April 16. The Chinese source also suggests that the device will be housed in a ceramic body and it will sport a 5.2-inch LCD display with a 2.5D curved glass.
A marginally underclocked Snapdragon 835 SoC will most likely be firing up the Xiaomi Mi 6. It can be recalled that the Chinese handset maker had equipped its Mi 5 with similar specs when it arrived last year, MyDrivers (via FirstPost) reported.
Bearing in mind that Samsung has acquired exclusive first access to the aforesaid chip, Xiaomi will have no other option but waiting until April to debut the Xiaomi Mi 6 outfitted with the new chip. This also cements the possibility that the smartphone could arrive in April this year.
Nevertheless, if the Xiaomi Mi 6 arrives with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, it will be the first Chinese smartphone to pack the state-of-the-art 10nm processor. Much to the relief of those looking to get their hands on the highly anticipate Mi 5 successor, the undisclosed source also debunked rumors suggesting that the processor will be slightly under-clocked, WCCFtech reported. 4GB of RAM coupled with 32GB of internal memory
4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal memory
