‘Justice League’ Movie Updates: Zack Snyder Shares Images of Heavily Armed New Batmobile [PHOTO]
Movie and superhero fans will have a lot to look forward to in the coming months as Warner Bros. Pictures is set to release a slew of new movies in its DC Extended Universe franchise. Perhaps the most anticipated of the bunch would have to be the superhero team up movie, "Justice League," which will feature the return of the characters from "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," along with other superheroes and villains.
To further increase the hype for the movie, the film's director Zack Snyder has now revealed some new images, via Movie Web, of Batman's new ride. Based on the photo that was shared on the Vero email platform, Batman's Batmobile will apparently be getting some serious upgrades.

Compared to the Batmobile featured in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," the new version in "Justice League" will be stacked to the brim with new weapons and armor. The pimped out Batmobile looks like it is equipped with dual Gatling guns and a large cannon of some kind mounted on the side. The vehicle is also clad with heavy armor that covers majority of its surface.
Snyder even captioned the photo with the phrase, "Upgrades... what are you worried about Wayne." This implies that Ben Affleck's Batman will likely be over preparing as usual, to compensate for the looming threat. Batman's car chase scene in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" had received some criticism due to the Dark knight's willingness to kill and due to the way he had finished off some of his enemies. Given the upgrades on the Batmobile, much of the same will likely be happening.
However, the vehicle's arsenal of weapons may not be mowing down henchmen this time around. Batman and the rest of the Justice League are expected to go against Steppenwolf, to be played by Ciarán Hinds, and his army of parademons.
"Justice League" is scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 17. The film will star Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg.
