Latest reports claim that the Taiwan smartphone maker will release the flagship phone with a different name. In addition, several speculations are noting that the latest Snapdragon 835 processor will power the upcoming flagship device.

HTC has been very silent about the specs, features, and even the release date of the HTC 10 successor. Recent claims suggest that a new name will be given to the flagship device. For a while, analysts, when describing the flagship device, use the name HTC11. Instead of this name, allegedly it will have the HTC Ocean name. Earlier in January, it can be recalled that Engadget had a report noting that according to HTC President, the flagship device will not be named as HTC 11.

It can be recalled that in the previous months, the HTC flagship smartphone were given various names. Among its christened name includes HTC Vive claiming that it will match the company's virtual reality franchise called Vive. It was also referred to as HTC U-Vibe in connection with the company's HTC U series.

Aside from its new name, another speculation hitting the online world right now is that Snapdragon 835 will power the device. Other reports also suggest that the upcoming device will have a 5.5-inch display with 1,440 x 2,560 resolution. In addition, it would have 128 internal storage with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The upcoming device is also speculated to have a 3700mAh battery. Moreover, the device reportedly will have a 12MP rear camera and 8MP front-facing camera.

A recently leaked image of HTC 11 was posted on Weibo showing a screenshot of the smartphone's About Phone screen. It revealed that the alleged HTC flagship device would have 1556 x 2550 resolution. In addition, it claimed that Sense 9.01 UI overlay aside from the Android 7.12 Nougat would be the device operating system.

As of this writing, the company has not commented on the alleged leaked speculations making rounds online. We will keep you posted about the latest news and update of HTC flagship smartphone.
